Chapter 18 Summary

Arctic Cold War Chapter 18 picks up where the previous chapter left off — Hung Fen uses his ability to scare the person hiding behind the outer wall. Although he succeeds in scaring, Hung Fen doesn’t stop there. He first created a smoke screen and later tried to grab Hyona, but she ran away after witnessing horror on the apartment floor.

While she ran away, Hung Fen captured a person, probably the same one who killed him before. To make that person pay for the things he had done to him, Hung Fen started beating him badly. Before he understands what’s happening, Hung Fen lands a solid blow enough to kill him. This was the first time in the series that Hung Fen killed someone. And it looks like he didn’t believe himself.

Later, Hung Fen accepted Aiya’s helping hands since he was scared. However, he couldn’t believe that the kid wasn’t scared of witnessing the murder. It is one such moment that requires keeping everything running smoothly.

As the chapter progresses, we witness Aiya and Hung Fen’s conversation about his recent actions. He suggested she should not stay with him, or she would get hurt. However, Aiya ignored his suggestion and decided to stay with him. She knows that the only way to survive is by keeping Hung Fen close.
