Ferris Bueller’s Day Off is a comedy-drama film directed by John Hughes. Ferris Bueller, the lead is played by Matthew Broderick. Other main characters include Alan Ruck as Cameron Frye, Mia Sara as Sloane Peterson, and Jennifer Grey as Jeanie Bueller.

The story starts with Ferris, his sister Jeanie, and his parents, Katie and Tom. When Ferris pretends to be sick, his family members have different opinions. Despite Jeanie’s efforts to convince her mother to make Ferris go to school, he is allowed to stay home. As his parents leave, Ferris is relieved that they bought his excuse.

Ferris Bueller was in bed when his mother checked on him. She didn’t find anything wrong since he didn’t have a fever. However, she later told Tom that Ferris was seeing spots. Both parents agreed it would be good to keep Ferris at home.

After they left the room, Ferris got up and seemed completely fine. He tricked them by making excuses for being sick. He skipped school to enjoy the beautiful day. To make the most of it, he asked his best friend, Cameron Frye, to come over.

One scene in the Ferris Bueller’s Day Off Edward R. Rooney calling Katie Bueller to inform her that her son, Ferris, is absent from school. However, Katie apologizes for not informing the dean that Ferris is at home and sick.

Later, Rooney asks if she is aware of her son’s poor attendance record, mentioning that Ferris has missed many school days, totaling nine absences this semester. Rooney suspects Ferris is not actually sick but is skipping school in the Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and advises Katie to take care of her son.

While in the English lecture, Florence Sparrow came to the classroom and informed Sloane Peterson that her grandmother passed. The scene shifts to the principal office, where Grace informs Rooney about the passing of Sloane’s grandmother. 

A while later, Ronney asks, “Who’s this girl going out with?” Grace replies, “She often sees her with Ferris Bueller.” To which he asked held him Mr. Peterson’s daytime number.

Before his hands on the number, Mr. Peterson called him from the front. On one call, Rooney speaks foul language to Mr. Peterson, thinking the caller is actually Ferris Bueller. But he’s wrong, as Grace told Ferris Bueller is in the other line.

In the aftermath of his phone conversation with Ferris Bueller, Ronnie appears scared since he thinks he’s in big trouble. He talks in the wrong way with Mr. Peterson on a call. Therefore, he says sorry to him for his behaviour on the call.

But it turns out that the person Rooney thinks is Mr Peterson is none other than Cameron. Cameron is doing all this to bring Sloane Peterson to their place. Later, Cameron suggests bringing her daughter in front of the school in 10 minutes. After saying this, Ferris Bueller kicks Cameron.

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off: What Favor Ferris Asked Cameron After Mess He Done With Rooney?

While talking to Principal Rooney, Cameron says something he shouldn’t have. Due to this, Ferris Bueller kicks him. On a call, Cameron told Rooney to bring her daughter in front of the school in 10 minutes. Ferris explained to Cameron that it would be difficult for them to pick up Sloane if Rooney was there with her. Therefore, to fix the mess, Ferris asks Cameron for his favor.

The scene shifts to Cameron’s garage, where a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California is parked. The car belongs to Cameron’s father, who spent three years fixing it.

Later, we learn that the favour Ferris was talking about is Cameron’s father’s Ferrari. He suggests to drive the Ferrari to school to pick up Sloane. And they successfully pick her without getting caught by the Rooney.

Ferris requested to use the Ferrari, but Cameron clearly refused to let him use it. The Ferrari belongs to Cameron’s father, who spent three years fixing the car. He loves his Ferrari more than his own life. Therefore, taking a Ferrari for a drive will bring a lot of trouble for him. However, Ferris ignores Cameron’s warnings and takes it to pick up his girlfriend.

Even after picking up Sloane from school, Ferris did not stop and drove to the A-1 EZ parking lot. However, the man they have paid to take care of the car in the parking lot steals it.

While Ferris and Sloane have fun, Cameron is worried about the car. His father loves his car more than his wife. Therefore, they were always fighting with each other.

However, later in the film, we discover that the guy we think stole the Ferrari just did it for a ride.

Later, Cameron noticed his Ferrari had been driven for many miles.

Later, Cameron noticed that his Ferrari had been driven several miles. Due to this, he went into a state of shock. There was also a scene in which Cameron tried to die by drowning.

He was so afraid of being found out that he accidentally destroyed the Ferrari.

While he is thinking of how to deal with the situation, Ferris tells him that he will take a hit. He will tell Cameron’s father that he destroy his car.  At last, Cameron overcomes his fear of his father and decides to tell him everything that happened with his car. 

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off: Is Ferris Bueller Get Caught In The End?

The final sequence of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off is one of the most twisted. Trying to reach the home on time, Ferris finds himself in front of his sister’s car. He was shocked to see his mother in the car and tried to run as fast as possible so he could reach the home before them. However, his sister is in the mood to catch him, so he increases the speed. On the other hand, Rooney is also trying to catch Ferris.

As he arrives at the home, Ferris gets caught outside by Rooney. However, thanks to Jeanie, who came in clutch for him and offered him a key to the house. With Jeanie’s help, Ferris successfully enters his room without getting caught by his parents in the end of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
