Season 2 is on the way and will be available for the fans to watch soon. However, before its official release, Netflix X (Formerly known as Twitter) handle posted a behind-the-scenes video featuring Jeff Ward. Jeff Ward is one of the cast members and plays Buggy the Clown in the series. His role is crucial to the story. While filming the video, Jeff takes fans on a behind-the-scenes video tour that features costume designers, product designers, and others.

The video started with him introducing the costume designer, Kerry Barnard. She reveals that the costumes in the warehouse are at least for the one thousand people. Several costumes were blurred out due to being part of Season 2. That makes sense since Netflix doesn’t want anything to get spoiled.

The showrunner and creator, Matt Owens, later appeared and discussed how people will show excitement seeing all the brand-new looks. Furthermore, Jeff introduces the hair designer and makeup artist Amanda Ross McDonald.

They had a conversation about the material made for season 2, where most are blurred out. Then props master Egbert Kruger appears in the video. While they were talking, we may see the Gum-Gum fruit and Usopp’s sniper goggles. Kruger reveals that all the props are handmade, based on the drawing of the manga creator Eiichiro Oda.

Later, Jeff Ward introduces Tom Hannam and Gotlieb, the production designers behind the One Piece Live Action Season 2. In the video,  Ipponmatsu Arms Shop can be seen, where Zoro gets his new sword previewed. The Twin Lighthouse from the Reverse Mountain Arc is also featured. And the discussion on the challenges they face in filming the snowy Drum Kingdom Arc in sunny South Africa.

Shortly after, the behind-the-scenes video tour concluded with Jeff Ward revealing the release date, but it was later hilariously beeped. He then pleaded with others not to yell at him, as it was an innocent mistake. However, fans understand the marketing gimmick behind this. And Netflix’s initial intention behind posting a video.

The video may not be as informative as fans expected, but it is still exciting and suggests that the second season will arrive soon. It also allows significant staff members to shine, whose names and efforts might otherwise go unrecognized by the fans. Overall, One Piece Live Action Season 2 will stand up to fan’s expectations.
